Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead.
You're not in the drivers seat; I am.
Matthew 16:24 from the Message |
Welcome, I am pleased to be bringing you the news of Metropolis Ministry. My name is Kim Barrickman and the Lord led me to Metropolis and Dennis & Sherry Bracy about 6 months ago. I climbed aboard and have been enjoying the ride ever since. My sincere desire for this newsletter is to keep you informed, inspired, and interested! Please email any comments and suggestions to Dennis Bracy at

Song of the Warrior's Living Video rehearsals are winding up as we prepare for our "Sneak Preview." We have graciously been invited to perform a skit/song that will minister the gospel during the April 2, 2000 Sunday Night Alive show. SNA has moved to a new stage for this season, the Russell House Theatre on Greene St. in Columbia, SC. The show is at 8:00 p.m. Sunday Night Alive is an established ministry that spoofs the popular Saturday Night Live. Please check them out at their website:

After our "warm-up," we begin our 4 month SC prison tour. We invite you to join us in prayer as we ask God to open many hearts during these very special ministry times. For our goal is to raise the name of Jesus and to glorify God!

FLEA MARKET FELLOWSHIP
I believe you can fellowship and worship anywhere! What started out as an idea to raise money for, and awareness of, our ministry, quickly blossomed into a time of fun and fellowship. Thanks so much to all who bought CD's, made donations, took brochures, and especially to all the great folks who lingered and talked to us for a while. We enjoyed it so much - we are again setting up shop, this time offering top
notch(ed) garage sale items at bargain basement (& attic) prices. Please stroll by our booth, Saturday, March 18 at the Metro #1, on Hwy 1 in Columbia. (all proceeds from these sales are being used to purchase items still necessary for our prison ministry shows)
Again, heartfelt thanks to WQXL 1470am, for continuing to play "Emmanuel" from our latest CD. We welcome you to give them a call and thank them for playing such an "awesome" song!
Check back in early April to get the latest buzz about Metropolis, and don't forget to visit our song sample page while you're here!
May the Grace of God be with you always!
Kim
